Cultivating Growth

Seeds of growth require cultivation to bring a bountiful harvest.  That cultivation includes ensuring that the seeds of growth become important functions of an organization or what we call activities of cultivation. 

Certainly the most important factor is nurturing relationships with constituents in a myriad of ways to ensure life long relationships with the organization.  Some of the activities of cultivation include the following and are normally part of an overall development plan:

• Opportunites for volunteer participation
• Stewardship of relationships
• Leadership by example
• Effective communications
• Special events
